The New England Environmental Education Alliance (NEEEA) recognizes outstanding environmental educators and programs from the New England region. NEEEA 2008 AWARDS PRESS RELEASE: On October 4, 2008 environmental educators from throughout New England gathered at Boston UniversityÕs Sargent Center in Hancock, New Hampshire, for the 42nd annual conference of the New England Environmental Education Alliance (NEEEA), A Journey Home: Fostering Ecologically Centered Communities. Marie Pirie Program Award - Project CO-SEED, Community-Based School of Environmental Education, a program of the Antioch New England Institute at Antioch University New England in Keene, New Hampshire.
Richard Haley President's Award - Awarded posthumously to Richard Haley for this 20-year contribution to the field.

2005 President's Award - Jim Lafley, in honor of his many years of dedicated service to NEEEA and to environmental education throughout New England. Jim is a past president of NEEEA and of MEES, and has co-chaired NEEEA's annual conference.
